My Tomorrow Girls Football Tournament

The England Women Talent Pathway, West Midlands Police, and Birmingham City Council are proud to present a unique tournament for girls in Birmingham aged 12-17, under the My Tomorrow project. This event offers them the chance to showcase their talent in a fun and safe environment. Focused on reaching those with raw potential who might face barriers to regular participation, this event aims to find and support emerging talent.

More than just competitive football, the day will provide girls with the opportunity to meet inspiring special guests and engage with key stakeholders who are eager to listen, understand, and respond to their needs.

  • Inspire greater collaboration and creativity to improve the life chances of young people in our region

It has been designed by young people working with the charity the Positive Youth Foundation and it is funded by the West Midlands Violence Reduction Partnership.

Can you help us Find a Future Lioness?

We are encouraging anyone who works with players who have talent now or potential in the future, to refer a player through the Discover My Talent referral form.

This can be accessed on the button below.

Since 2021 we’ve seen over 5178 unique referrals. Each one a player we couldn’t have discovered without your support. Coaches, volunteers, match officials, teachers, parents and all kinds of people working with young players have seen potential and put players forward.

This season our focus is on English eligible players who are born in 2009, 2010 and 2011, playing in all formats of the game, including small-sided, recreational, girls, mixed, affiliated and un-affiliated football – remember Talent is Everywhere but opportunity isn’t unless someone like you can champion and refer the young person.
