The Birmingham Community Safety Partnership is committed to improving safety and support for those affected by domestic abuse.
As part of this commitment, The Birmingham City Council Community Safety Team conduct Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews (DARDR) to identify the lessons learned and to improve service responses for all domestic violence and abuse victims.
We publish overview reports on our website and on the BCC website including key findings, recommendations and actions taken to improve our response to domestic abuse across Birmingham.
Our aim is to ensure that every lesson learned informs better protection and support for victims and survivors in our community.
These reviews are conducted with the utmost sensitivity and respect for those affected and any personal information is anonymised to protect the privacy of individuals involved.
